Kharghar is one of the 14 nodes of Navi Mumbai located just off the Mumbai- way and close to the Central Business District (CBD) in Belapur. It is divided into 45 sectors developed and maintained by CIDCO. Kharghar is known as the third most developed node of Navi Mumbai, with a total area of 1,850 hectares, of which 1,714 hectares can be developed. This node is bounded by two major highways and Hills. Taloja industrial area and Taloja creek are located on its eastern side. Connectivity Located on the Mumbai- way, Kharghar enjoys seamless connectivity to all major points of interest in and around Mumbai. It is less than an hours drive from the centre of Mumbai, 11 minutes from Navi Mumbai via Sion- way, 12 minutes from Link Road, 16 minutes from Vashi and 15 minutes from Kamothe via Sion- way. NT buses are available from Kharghar to Vashi, Thane, Dombivli, Panvel, Khopoli, Uran and Taloja including air-conditioned Volvo buses from Kharghar to Dadar and Borivali. The area will soon be connected to and from Vashi and other parts of Mumbai my means of the Rail and Mono Rail.
